Mickel of 800 East Lincoln avenue died at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital Friday at 10 p.m. following a short illness.. Mr. Mickel was born in Erie, Pa., July 23, 1878. He worked for many years for the Ypsilanti Reed Company and later as an electrician. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Charles Perrien Sr., two grandchildren, Mrs. Thomas Burt of Turk Lake and Charles Perrien Jr. His wife died in 1926. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home. Interment at Highland Park cemetery. Subsequent Publication: Tuesday, July 19, 1955 Funeral services for Perry I. Mickel were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone-Kauffman funeral home. The Rev. Court O. Adams officiated and interment was at Highland Park cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Burt, Charles Perrien Jr., Lem Hartman, Maynard Hartman, Raymond Dyer and Ernest Dalton. Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Burt of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Brown of Lansing and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bailey of Sheridan.
