Ionia County News, 1 Apr 1926

James Micks, 85, well-known resident of this city for nearly half a century,
passed away at the home of his son, George M. Micks, East Lincoln avenue, last
Friday evening.  The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the home of the
son, with Rev. Alfred Trenerry, pastor of the Baptist church, in charge. 
Interment was made in Highland Park cemetery.  He is survived by two sons,
George of this city, and Albert of Lansing.
