The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 29, 1978


Ethel Micks, 85, formerly of 458 Lincoln Ave., Ionia died Friday at the Ionia 
Manor.  She was born July 16, 1893 and lived most of her married life in 
Ionia.  Her husband George W. Micks preceded her in death in 1954.  Mrs. Micks 
was a former member of Women of the Moose.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Olsen of Traverse City; one 
grandson, Dewayne Filkins of Tampa, Fla.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers-Roetman funeral home, 
Ionia.  Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery.
