Lake Odessa Wave, 18 Jul 1924

Flora May Shade was born in Dark County, Ohio on May 24, 1886 and departed this 
life on June 24, 1924 at the age of 38 years – 1 month.

When 4 years of age she with her parents moved to Michigan where they settled 
near Woodland living there until her marriage on September 30, 1902, to Abraham 
Middaugh of Woodbury where they lived until August 20, 1923, when they moved to 
Odessa Center living there at the time of her death.

She leaves to mourn her departure, the husband and three children, namely – 
Velma MacDowell of Grand Ledge, Ezra and Harlan at home, besides her mother, 
four brothers, one sister, one half sister, half brother and grandson, her 
father, sister and half brother preceding her to the better world nearly five 
years ago – besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
