Ezra S. Middaugh, 77, of 7814 Sessions Road, Carson City, died Tuesday in 
Gratiot Community Hospital in Alma.  He was born Feb. 8, 1907, in Sunfield 
Township, Eaton County, the son of Abraham and Flora Shade Middaugh.  He 
attended Woodbury School and was married to Ruby Mix Nov. 27, 1935.  He had 
been a farmer and also worked at Oldsmobile in Lansing.

Surviving are seven daughters: Dale Wise of Westphalia, Alice Shinabarger of 
Carson City, Flora Crater of Belding, Viola Oakley of Lansing, Betty Rogers of 
Georgia, Grace Middaugh of Grand Ledge,, Elsie Burns of Barryton; three sons: 
Leo and Robert Middaugh of Lansing and Paul Middaugh of Muir; 28 grandchildren 
and several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harlan Middaugh of Lake 
Odessa.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa, the Rev. Randall Kohls officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside 
Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday from 
7 to 9 p.m.
