Lake Odessa Wave - December 21, 1950
          ELEANOR MIDDAUGH RITES HELD SATURDAY
   Funeral services were held for Mrs. Eleanor Middaugh, 75, widow of Orley
Middaugh, former resident of 
Woodbury.  Saturday at 2 at the Mapes funeral home, Sunfield with burial in Lakeside
cemetery.
   She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Luther Brodbeck of Alma, Mrs. Blanche
Ayres of Hastings and Mrs. 
Velma Anderson of Marion; two sons Clyde Conrad of Cloverdale and Samuel Conrad of
Kaleva; a sister Mrs. 
Martha Whiting of Grand Rapids; a brother Henry Treese of Kalamazoo and a half
brother Philip David of Lake 
Odessa.
   Mrs. Middaugh passed away Thursday at the home of Guy Rogers of Saddlebag lake
east of Woodland, 
where she had been employed.  Sam Conrad formerly lived here and was employed by the
Pere Marquette 
railroad company.
