Paul G. Midlam, age 98, of Greenville, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2002, at
United Memorial Health Center.  Paul was born in Darke County, Greenville
Township, Ohio, the son of Charles and Lelia Ballard Midlam.  He worked for
Consumers Power for 42 years and was a member of the First Church of God.

He was a great man known by all.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; daughter and son-in-law, Iris Fern and Henry
Schenck of Dayton, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Pearl Midlam of Alma; sister, Mildred
Stauffer of California; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lila in 1985; his son, Milo in 1980;
his brothers, Clarence and Perry; and his sisters, Mary and Helen.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at First Church of God, Greenville.  Burial
is in Rest Haven Memory Gardens.  Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 Sunday
at Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville.
