Ionia Sentinel – Tuesday, 3 December 1957

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth C. Mier, 45, route one, Ionia, who died at 
Belding City hospital Friday morning were conducted Monday at 2:30 pm at Myers 
funeral home.  The Rev. Heath T. Goodwin officiated.  Interment was in Keefer 
cemetery.

Bearers were Carl, David and Joseph Mier, Francis Listerman, Lawrence Kenter 
and Richard Blackmore.

Attending the funeral from out of town were Harold Train of Lansing, Mrs. 
Gerald Gladding of Belding, Mrs. Robert Gister of Greenville, Mrs. Gertrude 
Ellsworth of Saranac, Chris Walter of Sheridan and Mrs. Mable Davis, and Mrs. 
Virginia Coleman and daughter of Ithaca.
