The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, December 8, 1965


Richard Miles, 51, died Wednesday morning at his route two, Portland home.  He 
was a lifelong resident of Portland township.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys; four sons, Duane of Lansing, Richard of United 
States Army, South Carolina; Patrick and Michael, at home; one daughter, Kay 
of Lansing; three sisters, Mrs. Meridith Sandborn, Mrs. Marion Croel of Ionia, 
and Mrs. Vivian Coe of Portland.

Funeral service will be Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Neller funeral home 
in Portland.  Burial will be in Portland cemetery.
