Ionia Standard, 28 Oct 1904

Leander Millard, a widely known pioneer resident, died at his home near Palo, 
Tuesday night, aged 81 years.  He leaves a widow and three sons, two of them 
residents of Grand Rapids.  Funeral on Friday at 10 a.m., at family residence.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried 
in Palo Cemetery.]
