SHERIDAN - Kate F.  Millard, 86, of 419 W. Orange St., Greenville died 
Wednesday at Sheridan Community Hospital.

Mrs. Millard was born Dec. 23, 1892 in Belding, the daughter of Fred and Alma 
Baxter.

She was a retired secretary and has been a Greenville resident since 1970. She 
formerly was of Palo and Ionia.

She was a member of the Palo Eastern Star Lodge and the White Shrine of Ionia.

Mrs. Millard was preceded in death by her husband Eliot in 1959.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gene Kirby, of Greenville; two 
stepdaughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Merelene) Staines of Sheridan; Mrs. Floyd (Vannie) 
Rice of Ionia; a nephew Lawrence Martin, of Big Rapids; five grandchildren and 
nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Stebbins and Simpson Funeral home in 
Sheridan. The Rev. Gerald W. Bowen will officiate.

Burial will be in Palo cemetery.
