The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, July 20, 1954


Funeral services for Cecil L. Millard, who died Friday at Sparrow Hospital at 
Lansing, were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Shaw-Rivett funeral home 
with the Rev. Louis Herrick of the Muir Presbyterian church officiating.  
Pallbearers were Russell Conner, Larry Arnold, Millard Stedman, Richard 
Stedman, John Stedman and Leslie Maxwell.  Mrs. Suzanne White was in charge of 
the music.

Those who attended the services from away were Mrs. Cora Jenkins, Mrs. Cora 
Jollis, Mrs. Clara Ambler, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Bert 
Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Arnold Jr., Mrs. 
Robert Green and Mrs. Clarence Tobias of Lansing; Mrs. Fred Millard and Miss 
Ruth Swindt of Pewamo, Miss Reva Jantz of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Mrs. Richard 
Stedman of Portland, Mr. and Mrs. Dorr Bronson of Orleans; Mr. and Mrs. 
Millard Stedman, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Conner, Mr. 
and Mrs. John Stedman, William Morris and Mrs. Don Carroll of Iona; Mr. and 
Mrs. Forest Avery of Sheridan; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Arnold of Dimondale; and Mr. 
and Mrs. Harold Wandell of Lyons.
