Death of An Ex-Ionian.

Chas. A. Millard died Sunday at his home in Detroit.  Mr. Millard was formerly a
resident of this city and was for several years engaged in the wholesale grocery
business here, the firm being Bates & Millard.  His funeral was attended at Detroit
on Wednesday and the remains brought here for interment.  Mr. Millard married a
daughter of the late John Avery, and Mrs. Millard and two daughters survive him.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried in
Highland Park Cemetery.]
