Miller, age 81, of Ionia, passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2005. He was born on May 20, 1923 in Ionia, the son of Tony and Dorothy (Mason) Miller. Mr. Miller was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia, and also a member of the Sheridan V.F.W. Post #5065. Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He then worked as a welder at General Motors for 33 years. Preceding him in death were his parents. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Katherine J. Miller of Ionia; children, Bill (Karen) Miller, Mary (Rick) Hager, and Brian (Karen) Miller, all of Ionia, and Ann (Scott) Jones of Minneapolis, Minn.; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Anthony and Leonard Miller. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Melvin Fox at 11 a.m. Thur., Feb. 17, 2005 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. Military Honors will be provided at the church by the Sheridan V.F.W. Post #5065. Rite of Committal will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Ionia, in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Ionia from 2 p.m. to 4 p. m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. A scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
