Charles Leon Miller, 70, of Saranac, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at 
Heartland Health Care in Ionia.  He was born October 3, 1932 in Ionia the son 
of Leon and Eunice Miller.

He is survived by two sons William Oakley and fiancé Sandra Koontz, of Saranac, 
and Charlie and Ruth Miller, of Sumner; one daughter, Eunice Bennett, of 
Saranac; two sisters, Dorothy Chase, of Saranac, and Iva Bennett and two 
brothers George Miller of Saranac, Joe and Waverly Miller, of Ionia; and 
several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents and one sister Caroline Oakley, and two 
brothers, Bill Oakley and Bennie Bennett.

Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 12, 
2003 at Saranac community Church with Rev. John Madvig officiating.  Interment 
will be in Tuttle Cemetery.  The family will receive friends and family Tuesday 
2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
