Ionia Sentinel Standard, Feb 1999

Ralph G. Miller, 80, of Belding, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 1999, at United 
Memorial Hospital’s Long Term Care Unit.  He was born June 11, 1918 in Howard 
City to Joseph and Alta (Bennett) Miller.  He retired from the Ionia County 
Road Commission in 1980 after 15 years in the service department.  

He was married May 9, 1938, to Maysel Noddins, who survives.  He is also 
survived by children, Jacklyn and Rance Stowell of Belding, and Jerry and Kathy 
Miller of Greenville; two grandsons, Joe and David Stowell of Lansing; one 
brother, Richard Dulek of Vickeryville; one sister, Catherine Corwell of 
Roscommon.  He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Joseph 
Miller, Loyd Dulek, and Owen Dulek.

Memorial services will be 12 p.m. (noon), Saturday, at the Johnson Funeral Home 
in Belding.  Pastor Kendall Harger will officiate.  Interment will be in 
Orleans Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Memorials 
may be made to the Ionia County Humane Society or Belding Museum.
