The Portland Review, Thursday, March 3, 1966

Mrs. Pearle Miller, 1029 Divine Highway, Portland, age 76, passed away Tuesday 
morning at the St. Lawrence hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Dalton D. Miller, 2 daughters, Mrs. Vada 
Hummel, Orleans, Mrs. Marilyn Bandfield, Portland, seven grandchildren, 2 
great grandchildren, 1 sister, Mrs. Martha Beebe, Owosso and 7 brothers: Ray 
Fickies, Oakly; Leslie, Flint; Chester, Lansing; Harold, Howell; Lloyd, 
Lansing; Bill, Flint; and Max, Lansing.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Nellers Funeral Home in 
Portland, with Rev. Robert Treat officiating.  Burial will be in the Portland 
cemetery.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Portland Methodist Church, Ladies Literary 
Club and Portland Grange and she was also the late news correspondent of the 
Review and Observer.

Pall bearers are Neal Hummel, Mark Lewis, Vaughn Fickies, Leon Hummel, Richard 
Fickies and Michael Fickies.
