The Rev. C. A. Brady will officiate and burial will be in Tuttle cemetery. Born February 10, 1896, in Alto, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Miller and at the age of 13 moved to Cummings in Kent county. At the age of 21 he came to Ionia where he was employed by the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company. In 1923 he was married to Edith Nelson of Ionia. Mr. Miller was a member of the Church of Christ and a member of the church board. Surviving are his wife, Edith; three sons, Pfc. Roy LaVern Miller, marine veteran who was wounded in action at Tarawa, and Pvt. Charles W. Miller, also with the marines in the southwest Pacific theater and Ernest Franklin Miller, at home; four brothers, Milo Miller and Harry Miller of Ionia, Lester Miller of Grand Rapids and Ransom Miller of Flint; four sisters, Miss Jennie Miller and Mrs. Otis Bontrager of Cummins, Mrs. John Winton of Fairview and Mrs. Harvey Stutzman of Goshen, Ind.
