R. B. Chapman conducted the funeral service for Palmer Miller at the Church of Christ at 4:00 o’clock Mon. afternoon, the burial ritual being given by the local order of Mason, who formed an escort from the church to Highland Park. Thane Benedict and L. G. Yates furnished the music. The bearers were J. Hoover, Harry Callow, Martin V. Cook, Ernest Hicks, Harold Bradley and Jack Fleckenstein. The only people from outside the city were Stanley Miller, brother, and Mr. Hugh McLeod of Chicago, who came with Mrs. James Taylor on the return from that city Sunday morning. Palmer Miller became a Mason while attending Dartmouth College, and belongs to the Hanover, New Hampshire lodge.
