The funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon, 2 o’clock at the house and 2:30 at the Lutheran church. The services will be in English. The body reposes at the Bradley funeral home where it may be viewed at any time up to 4 o’clock Friday afternoon. At that hour it will be taken home. The burial will be in the Highland Park cemetery by the side of Mrs. Miller who died 13 years ago. Mr. Miller was a native of Germany and came to this country when 20 years of age, locating in Ionia and residing here since. He was a road contractor and among those in this vicinity that have been of his production are two miles east on old M-21 from the Cleveland street corner; three miles on the Steele road passing the Hubbel schoolhouse, and three miles south of the Kimball school to Maple corners. Surviving are the following children: Henry, Jr., Ionia, Mrs. Carl Mrs. Fred Coulson, Berlin; George, Ionia; Mrs. Henry Rutz, South Ionia; Edward, of Waukesha, Wis.; Ewald, Ionia. He also leaves 24 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
