Darwin F. Miller, age 78, of Ionia, passed away Feb. 16, 2008 in Ionia.  He 
was born May 26, 1929 in Saranac the son of Charles and Thelma (Carigon) 
Miller.  Darwin married Wilma Werner Jan. 3, 1951 at the First Methodist 
Church in Ionia. He served in the Army 151st Tank Division during the Korean 
Conflict and was a member of Belding VFW.

Darwin is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Wilma Miller of Ionia; 
daughters, Linda (Charles) Irwin of Ionia, Cathy (Eric) Moore of Morley; 
brothers Daniel Miller of Lowell, Donald (Mary Lou) Miller of Orleans; 
sisters, Donna (Woody) Bean of West Olive, Dorothy Werner of Palo, Delores 
(Walter) Graham of Orleans and Della Nelson of Ionia; granddaughters, Teri, 
Amanda and Tammy (Michael); one grandson, Darwin and two great-grandsons, 
Michael and Brendan.  He was preceded in death by two sons and two brothers 
Dwayne and Darrell.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008 1 p.m. at Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac with Rev. Kendall Harger officiating.  The family will 
receive friends and relatives Wednesday 11 a.m. until time of service at the 
funeral home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to family choice.
