Ionia Weekly Standard - Jan. 1, 1909


Alvin Miller, of Sebewa, died last week and was buried Saturday, funeral 
services being held at the home of his father, Conrad Miller, Saturday. Burial 
was in Sebewa cemetery. Deceased was a brother of John Miller, of Portland, and 
was 43 years of age. He was operated upon for stricture of the bowels and lived 
a week or more after the operation. The surgeons found a condition, when they 
performed the operation that left little ground for hope.
