Elmer R. Miller 89, of Ionia passed away Dec. 6, 2009. 

He was born May 30, 1920 in Ionia. Elmer married Marie Ann Nemetz Sept. 23, 
1944 who preceded him in death March 23, 2006. He was a longtime charter member 
of Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church since 1935. He served as soundman and assisted 
with maintenance at the church.

Elmer is survived by his daughter Cheryl Miller on Ionia; brother, Vernon 
(Doris) Miller of Grayling and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter Evelyn and sisters, Arlene 
Trierweiler, Joan Miller and Jean miller. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Lincoln Ave. Baptist Church in 
Ionia with Rev. Darren Tharp officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Tuesday, 12 p.m. until time of service at the church. Interment 
Balcom Cemetery. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Lincoln Ave. 
Baptist Church. Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Online condolences
