Gerald F. Miller, 90, of Pewamo, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at the 
Hospice House St. Lawrence Campus in Lansing. 

He was born Sept. 24, 1912, the son of Harrison and Eva (Mullins) Miller, in 
Fowler. He would go on to marry Norene Kunzi June 2, 1945 in Fort Ord, Calif. 
Gerald was a World War II Veteran of the Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Norene Miller of Pewamo; 
children, Daryl (Ann) Miller of Portland, Ellen Jean (Jim) Simon of Pewamo, and 
Duane (Barbara) Miller of Portland; sisters, Beatrice Freehen of St. Johns, 
Dorothy Fritch of Lansing and Shirley (Dennis) of Indiana; seven grandchildren; 
and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and three sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday at the Lyons-
Muir Church with Rev. Scott Otis officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in 
Muir. Pallbearers will be Tonya Simon, Scott Miller, Chad Miller, Todd Simon, 
Jason Miller and Lester “Bill” Smalley.

The family will receive friends and relatives for visitation on Monday at Lake 
Funeral Home, Hull Memorial Chapel, in Muir.
