PORTLAND – Leonard E. Miller, 63, of 706 Beulah, Lansing, died June 27 at 
Burcham Hills Retirement Center, Lansing. 

Born Aug. 13, 1923, in Pewamo, he was the son of Anthony and Anna Klein Miller.

He was a retired custodian of Michigan State University and a member of St. 
Mary’s Cathedral parish, Lansing.

Surviving are three sons, Steven of Westphalia, Paul of Chapel Hill, N.C., and 
mark of Lansing, a daughter, Julie Schrauben of Lansing; one grandchild; a 
brother, Reynold of Pewamo; three sisters, Sarah Kowatch of Pewamo, Florence 
Koenigsknecht of Fowler, and Laura Koenigsknect of Jackson.

Rosary will be said Monday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Chapel, 
Westphalia.

Funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Church, Pewamo, the 
Rev. Isidro Gargantiel officiating.

Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Church. Pallbearers will be nephews. 
Arrangements are by Neller Funeral Home, Portland.
