Maysel L. Miller, 91, of Orleans Township, Belding passed away Tuesday, April 
27, 2010, at her home. Maysel was born on Feb. 10, 1919, on the family farm, 
the only daughter of Howard and Marie Young Noddins.

She graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1936 and later 
graduated from Western University. Maysel retired from Belding Area Schools in 
1981 after teaching 31 years. She started out teaching at the country schools 
and last taught at Ellis Elementary in Belding. 

Maysel was married on May 9, 1938, in Belding to Ralph G. Miller and he 
preceded her on Feb. 18, 1999. She was also preceded by her parents. 

Maysel is survived by her children, Jaclyn and Rance Stowell of Belding, Jerry 
and Kathy Miller of Gowen; grandchildren Joe and Marcie Stowell and David and 
Peggy Stowell, all of Lansing; one great granddaughter, Jayden Maysel Stowell.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home 
with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Private interment will be in Orleans 
Township Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
