Ionia Sentinel-Standard - May, 1995


IONIA - Orma I. Miller, 87, of Ionia, died May 12, 1995 at the Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital. 

She was born on Nov. 1, 1907, in Six Lakes, the daughter of Clyde and Dora 
Forgar Shelly.

She attended the Temple Baptist Church in Ionia.

She is survived by one son, Rick (Pam) Miller of Ionia; one daughter, Joyce 
(Jerry) White of Ionia; six grandchildren; four sisters, Veda Larsen of 
Lakeview, Lela (Don) Bollinger of north Carolina, Willeaveen (Dale) Skutt of 
Six Lakes, and Donna Smith of Lakeview.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1993; her daughter, Bonnie 
Misner in 1991; a grandson Danny Ries in 1994; and one brother, Raymond Shelly 
in 1990.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Memorial Chapel in 
Ionia, the Rev. Jim Houseman of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will 
be in Balcom Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. Monday at the Myers Memorial Chapel in 
Ionia.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Temple Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
