Ionia Sentinel - 12 October 1970
Charlie LeRoy Miller,  67, of route 2, Saranac, was pronounced dead on arrival 
at Ionia County Memorial hospital of an apparent heart attack.   He was born 
October 3, 1903, in Ionia the son of Mr and Mrs Lynn Miller.   A veteran of 
World War I and II he served with the army and navy.  He lived most of his life 
in Saranac and was employed by Kelvinator in  Grand Rapids many years.  The past 
three years he operated a refuse removal business in  Saranac.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine, two sons,  Gene and Ivan at home; four 
daughters, Katherine Miller of Hubbardston, Mrs. Elizabeth Stedman of 
Greenville,  Dorothy and Betty Miller of  Saranac; one sister, Mrs. Anna Hodges 
of Grand  Rapids.

Funeral  services will be Tuesday at 1:30 pm at Morris-Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac.  Rev James  Frank  of Galilee Baptist church will officiate and 
interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
