Ionia Sentinel - 12 October 1970
Mrs. Lillian Miller, 61, of 7421 Bluewater highway, Saranac, died Sunday 
afternoon at Ionia County Memorial hospital following an extended illness.  Born 
December 29, 1908 in  Farwell, she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs George 
Pemberton and lived all her married life in Saranac.  She was employed in Lowell 
19 years.

Surviving are her husband, Vernard Miller eight daughters, Mrs. Evelyn  Mutchler 
of Clarksville,  Mrs Mazie Ingersoll of Lowell; Mrs Dorothy Dean of Florida, Mrs 
Gereline  Goodenough of Mulliken, Mrs Virginia Magee of Grand Rapids,  Mrs.  
Marcella Wells and Mrs Patricia Bailey of Sunfield, Mrs Jeanne Detgen of 
Saranac; 42 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren brother, George Pemberton 
of Ionia; two sisters, Hilda Miller of Clarksville and Mrs Gladys  Reed of Grand 
Rapids.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Morris Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac.  Rev Robert Carter of United Holiness church of  Saranac will officiate 
and interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
