Ionia Sentinel Standard, 19 Feb 1964

Charles William Miller, 38, of 635 Evergreen SE, Grand Rapids died Wednesday at
Blodgett Memorial hospital in Grand Rapids following heart surgery.  A veteran
of World War II, he was a corporal in the Marine Corps serving on the Island of
Guam in the southwest Pacific.  He was born in Comins, February 3, 1926, son of
Charley and Edith Miller, and was married to Belva Westbrook, December 16, 1950.
 They resided in Ionia until moving to Grand Rapids in 1955.  Mr. Miller was a
member of First Christian church of Ionia.

Surviving besides his wife are two children, Edith Marie 12, and Lee Roy 9; his
mother, Mrs. Henry Harmal of Ionia; two brothers, Roy Miller of Ypsilanti and
Ernest Miller of Ionia.

Military funeral service will be conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at
Stone-Kauffman funeral home with interment at Easton cemetery.
