Miller, 67, of 117 Rebecca St., Portland, died Feb. 2 at his residence. He was born February 16, 1920 in Muir, the son of Mathias and Hazel (Loveless) Miller. He was a retired registered pharmacist, conducting business in Portland and Lansing. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. He was a member of the V.F.W. No. 4090, Portland Masonic Lodge No. 31 F. and A.M. He is survived by his wife, Lee; one son, Keith Miller of Stanton, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Jill) Hoppes of Portland, Mrs. Michael (Cheryl) Stephens of Lowell, and Mrs. Gerald (Pam) Avery of Eagle; 10 grandchildren. The family received visitors at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services were Thursday at 1 p.m. from the funeral home, the Rev. James Hynes of the Wacousta United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Muir. A memorial has been established in care of the funeral home.
