Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Jan. 31, 2012

William (Joe) Miller Sr., was born in Muir on June 29, 1927 and went to his new 
spiritual life, Jan. 30, 2012.

After moving to Ionia as a child, Joe spent his boyhood growing up in and 
around the Ionia area.

He served in the National Guard as a young man and was married and preceded in 
death by the love of his life, Waverly Alspaugh Miller. Joe was a people person 
who spent around 30 years working for the Ionia Free Fair as a parking 
attendant and very much loved to visit with people wherever he went. He will be 
greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. 
Visitation will be held 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the 
funeral home.
