Leon B. Miller, 83, of Lowell, passed away Dec. 17, 2013, in Ionia.  He was 
born July 22, 1930, the son of Chancey and Mable (Goody) Miller.  Leon married 
Francis (Vansyclen) July 6, 1950, in Lake Odessa.

He worked at Electrolux and Kelvenator before retiring.  He loved to spend time 
gardening, cutting wood, fishing and hunting.

Leon is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jessie (Francis) Miller of 
Lowell; son, Leon (Judy) Miller of Ionia; four grandchildren; eight great 
grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by 
his parents; two daughters, Patricia Ripley and Peggy McClain; four brothers; 
and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Lake Funeral 
Home of Ionia with Pastor Smith officiating.  Interment will be at Oakwood 
Cemetery in Lowell.  Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the 
funeral home.
