T.B. Miller, of Bloomer, Montcalm county, was born in Woodsfield, Monroe county, Ohio, on October 20, 1822. He was married to Miss Esther Bronson on April 2, 1848. To this union were born six children; two of them and the mother passed away before him. He was converted about 42 years ago, and united with the United Bretheren church. He soon commenced to preach the gospel: he was an able minister in the pulpit. He was a number of times elected to the office of presiding elder, which he filled acceptably. His wife died on October 13, 1893, and he was married to Mrs. Maria Herrington, on the fifteenth day of May, 1894. She was a faithful wife to him until death separated them. He had a paralytic stroke about three years and four months ago; he was helpless all these years. He passed away with hope of eternal life on July 29, 1900, and was buried by the side of his wife in Bloomer Centre cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Rev . D.H. Shelly, of Ionia.
