IONIA- Ross Herbert Miller, 73, 420 Lafayette, died Tuesday at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital.

He was born January 27, 1905 in Gratiot county, the son of Ross H. and Sarah 
Altenburg Miller. 

Mr. Miller married the former Alice Humphrey in Ionia in 1925.

A former employee of Gibson Refrigerator in Greenville, retiring in 1967, he 
was a member of Easton United Methodist church, the Ionia Masonic lodge, Order 
of Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalem.

The family lived on a farm in Easton township for 35 years before moving to 
Lafayette street two years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; one son, Robert H. of Ionia; four daughters, 
Mrs. J.B. (Bonnie) McQueen of Oxford; Mrs. T.M. (Jacqueline) Daley of Saranac; 
Mrs. John (Constance) Kennedy and Mrs. Richard (Maureen) Olsen of Belding; two 
brothers, William of Middleton and R.H. of Carson City; two sisters, Mrs. 
Russell Williams of Middleton and Mrs. Joseph Dennie of Lyons, 11 grandchildren 
and two great grandchildren.

Funeral and Masonic services are Thursday at 2 pm at the Myers-Roetman funeral 
home with Rev. Nolan Williams officiating. 

Burial is in Easton cemetery.

Memorial funds are established for Easton United Methodist church and the 
Masonic temple building fund.
