Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 May 1995

Gloria May Miller, 69, of Ionia, died Sunday, May 21, 1995, at her residence. 
She was born July 9, 1925, in Lansing the daughter of Mason and Hazel (Homes)
Miller.  She graduated from Lansing Central High School  She came to Ionia in
1960.  She married Millard Thompson.  She was a self-employed florist.

She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Stevens, of Kentwood; Pamela
Nunnenkamp, of West Palm Beach, Fla.; one brother, Howard Miller, of Syracuse,
N.Y.; four sisters: Maxine Eavay, of Muir; Marilyn Brinkman, of Lansing;
Jeannette Ryno, of Lansing and Doris Ostrander, of Houghton Lake.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian church
in Muir.  The Rev. David Christian, of Resurrection Life Church in Grandville,
will officiate.  Burial will be in the Muir Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hull
Memorial Chapel in Muir.
