CLARENCE E. MILLER
IONIA - Clarence E. Miller, 78, of Lansing, formerly of Ionia, died Saturday at St.
Lawrence Hospital, Lansing.

Born Sept. 11, 1909, he was the son of Pius and Louise Fox Miller. He was graduated
from SS. Peter and Paul Academy and was married to Marjorie M. Slowinski Sept. 12, 1950,
in Ionia.

He retired from Michigan State Police in 1965.

Surviving are his wife, Marjorie; a son, Pat Miller of Kalkaska; a granddaughter two
sisters, Ida McNeely of Ionia and Mrs. Clark (Adelaide) Hogan of Ionia; two brothers, Norman
Miller of Pewamo and Edgar Miller of Fairborn, Ohio.

Two brothers, Mark and Leonard Miller, and a sister, Helen Lee, preceded him in
death.

Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from SS Peter and Paul Catholic church.

Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m Tuesday at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Funeral
Home.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
