Funeral Friday
Dick Miller Passes Away Wednesday
Richard L. Miller, 53, of Portland, passes away at Sparrow hospital Wednesday
morning after having bee ill some time. Born near Pewamo, Mr.Miller had been a resident of
this vicinity most of his life and was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are the wife, Lila; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alec Miller, of Lansing; six
daughters, Mrs. Betty Bulkley , Detroit; Mrs. Celeste Schuster, Portland; Mrs. Doris Wheeler, 
Muskegon; Mrs. Ruth Erdman, Sunfield; Mrs. Rosalee May, Portland; Mrs.Virginia
Barnes, Brighton; two sons, George, Sunfield and Richard J. Portland.

There are 15 grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest, Hastings; Justin, Lansing; and
Leo, Haslett; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Jackson, Sunfield, Mrs. Beatrice Kelley, Haslett;
Mrs. Rosalyn King, Lansing.

Funeral services are being held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at Neller Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Portland cemetery.

Rev. Robert Rhynard and Rev. Hollis Tiffany will officiate at the funeral services.
