Ionia Sentinel Standard-Thurs. Feb. 25, 1982

WILLIAM MILLER JR.
ORLEANS - William Miller Jr., 48, of 1161 Lakeview Dr., Orleans died Feb. 22 at
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on March 20, 1933 in Middleton, the son of William and Senah Fockler
Miller.

He graduated from Perrington High School.

In 1952 he entered the U.S.Navy where he served four years during the Korean
Campaign.

Once out of the service he returned to Middleton and did not move to the Ionia area
until 1960.

He was employed at the Ionia State Hospital and Riverside Correctional Facility, a
member of the Lyon VFW and a former member of the Ionia Moose.

He is survived by a son, Lonnie of Ionia; one daughter Tina Miller of Maple Rapids;
and one brother, Starr of Carson City.

Memorial services will be held Today, 3 p.m. at the Leddick Funeral Home, the Rev.
Dr. Lloyd Walker of the United methodist church of Hart officiating.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Sheridan VFW Hospital Supply fund.
