Lake Odessa Wave - Times
          MRS. JESSE MILLER DIED SATURDAY
   Mrs. Mary C. V. Miller, 65, widow of Jesse Miller, who died last year, passed
away at her home here Saturday morning after several months of failing health.  She had 
been a resident of Woodland and Lake Odessa practically all her life.  The funeral was 
held at the Wortley & Bane chapel in Lake Odessa, Monday afternoon and burial was in 
Lakeside cemetery.  The Rev. J. Lawrence Ward, pastor of Central Methodist church in Lake 
Odessa, officiated.  Bearers were her sons and nephews.
   She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Spaulding at East Lansing, and Mrs.
Nettie Curtis in Odessa, three sons, Lieutenant Russell at Norte Dame university, South 
Bend, Ind., T/Sgt. Albert at Camp McCoy, Wis., and Ernest in Lake Odessa, seven 
grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Anna Staumbaugh at Charlotte, and two brothers, the Rev. 
Albert Beardsley in Detroit, and the Rev. Vern Beardsley at Charlotte.
