Raynold Henry Miller, age 88, of Pewamo, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2003.  He 
was born March 29, 1915 in Pewamo, the son of Anthony and Anna (Klein) 
Miller.  Mr. Miller was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo.  He 
married the former Rite G. Gensterblum in Portland on November 8, 1941.  He 
was a lifetime farmer and retired from the State of Michigan Motor 
Transportation Division.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, 
Leonard Miller; sister, Laura Koenigsknecht.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Rita G. of Pewamo; four children, Mary Ann 
(Lance) Jepson of Tallahassee, Florida, Bettie (Jim) Hillabrandt of Pinckney, 
Donald L. Miller of Portland, and Thomas F. (Debbie) Miller of Perrington; 10 
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Sarah Kowatch of Pewamo and 
Florence Koenigsknecht of Fowler; and several nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Charlon O. Mason, 
Pastor, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rite of 
committal following at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel, 210 N. 
Westphalia Street, Westphalia, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. to 4 
p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday.  The rosaries will be prayed at 8 p.m. 
Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.  A Scriptural Wake Service will be held 8 p.m. 
Wednesday.

For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph 
Catholic Church Restoration Fund in memory of Raynold H. Miller.  Arrangements 
are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland
