          CARL L. MILLER DIES AT BALDWIN
   Carl L. (Jake) Miller, 76 of Baldwin died Thursday at his home.
   Mr. Miller lived in Lansing 37 years, retiring from the Boys Training School in
Lansing and at Whitmore Lake 
in 1963.  He then moved to Baldwin.
   He was a member of Cedar Chapel Methodist Church in Auburn.
   He is survived by his wife, Vera, 3 sisters, Mrs. Isiah (Marie) Smith, Richmond,
Ind., Mrs. Monald (Helen) 
Weicker, Gravin, Ind., and Mrs. Glen (Annabelle) Campbell, Fremont, Ind., 2 bothers,
Paul M., Angold, Ind. and 
Donald K. of Big Rapids and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at 11:O00 a.m. at Baldwin Congregational
Church, Rev. Debink 
officiating.
   Graveside services were held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake
Odessa with Rev. Wm. 
Hertel officiating.
