Miller, age 40, of Ionia, passed away March 3, 2004 after a long courageous battle with Cancer. She was born January 22, 1964 in Ionia, the daughter of Walter and Alice (Ross) Lyons. She married Bruce Miller April 9, 1988 in Belding. Lisa was employed with Freedom Acres since 1990 and was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Her hobby was spending time with her children. She is survived by her loving husband Bruce Miller of Ionia; beloved children Joshua Miller of Ionia, Alicia Miller of Ionia, Alex Miller of Ionia; mother Alice Lyons of Ionia; brothers, Walt and Reggie Lyons of Ionia, Greg and Kris Lyons of Ionia, and Brian Lyons of Ithaca; sisters Mary Alice and Forest Homkes of Holland, Linda and Don Rowe of Kentucky, Patricia and Dave Clark of Ionia, Margaret and Randy Cook of Ionia; father and mother-in-law Edward and Glenna Miller of Ionia; brothers-in-law Randy and Mary Miller of Ionia, Brad and Autumn Miller of Barryton, Calvin and Kim Miller of Grand Haven, Scott Miller and Ruth Brown of Ionia; sister-in-law Cheryl and Steve Lehman of Ionia and many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Adam Miller August 4, 2000, and her father Walter in 1991. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Melvin Fox Celebrant. Interment Balcom Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. Scripture service will be Friday 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions for the children of Lisa Miller or American Cancer Society.
