ROBERT WILLIAM MILLER
Died Tuesday June 22, 2021-age 74 in Lansing.
Born in Jackson, Mich. December 23, 1946.
Was a Veteran of the U.S. Army from 1966-1968.
Graduated from MSU before beginning his career in Law enforcement with the 
Lansing Police in 1976.
Retired from Lansing Police Force in 24 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Edward and Roberta Pearl (Westcott) 
Miller & brother, Phillip (Sonny) Edward Miller II. 
Survived by his wife of over 26 years, Kim Miller; daughters, Rebecca (Cory) 
White, Kristin (David) Stahl, and Kathryn (Trevor) Armstrong; sister, Linda 
(Dennis) Howe; step-sons, A.J.(Shannon) Gray & Kyle Gray; 7 grandchildren, whom 
he adored & many special nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 12 noon 
Friday, July 30, 2021 at St.Patrick Catholic Church, Portland.
Family will received visitors one hour before the service.
A luncheon will follow at the Wagon Wheel American Grill-Oak Room, 7888 East 
Grand River Ave. Portland.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, American cancer 
Society, or the Humane Society in memory of Robert.
