GARY LEON MILLER
Died Thursday July 29, 2021-age 61 of Portland
Born September 9, 1959 in Lansing, Michigan
Son of Wilmer and Edna (Smith) Miller.
Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid Univ.of Mich. fan.
Most of all Gary enjoyed the company of his family, He loved making others laugh 
& was quite the jokester.
Preceding Gary in death are his parents; brothers, Ronald, David, and Joseph 
Miller; step-father, Art Fernholz; mother and father-in-law. Bernard & Eleanor 
McConnell; brothers-in-law, Larry Keilen, Shawn McConnell, and Steve Grosshans; 
sisters-in-law, Elaine Miller and Theresa McConnell.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Jean Miller; sons Chad (Randy) Miller, Corey 
Miller & Kyle (Anna) Miller; grandchildren: Kelsey, Skyler, Corilayna, Katelyn, 
Cohyn, Gavin, Katlynn and Lacie; , Jim Miller, Peg Keilen, Alice (Rich) Bengel, 
Jerry (Elaine) Miller, Mary (Jack) Sandborn, Chuck (Toni) Miller, Kathy (David) 
Walker,Junior (Ann) Miller, and Joann (Matt) Anthony; brother-in-law, 
DarinMcConnell; sisters-in-law, Patty (Randy) Davidson, Kathy (Randall) 
Ackerman, Anne Grosshans, and Colleen McConnell; & many special nieces & 
nephews.
Funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Robert Beckett at 11 Am. Tuesday 
August 3, 2021 at Lehman Funeral Home, Portland,
Visitation on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM, with rosary prayed at 7:30 at the funeral 
chapel.
