Lake Odessa Wave - Times - December 23, 1943
          JESSE MILLER DIED MONDAY EVENING

                                  ----------

   Jesse Miller, 66, died Monday evening at the Ingham County sanitarium near
Lansing following a long 
illness.

   Mr. Miller's home was in Woodland where he and Mrs. Miller had lived for several
years, previously being 
residents of Lake Odessa for a number of years.

   He is survived by the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Rupert Spaulding (Gladys) in
Lansing, Mrs. Voight Curtis 
(Nettie) in West Odessa, three sons, Russell and Albert in service, and Ernest at
Flint, and five grandchildren.

   Funeral services were held at the Wortley & Baine chapel here Wednesday afternoon
with burial in Lakeside 
cemetery. The Revs. Albert and Vernon Beardsley, brothers of Mrs. Miller,
officiated.
