Ionia Sentinel Standard, Tues, April 24, 1984
IONIA - Ewald (Avie) Miller, 80, of E. Main Street, Ionia, died early Monday 
morning at Blodgett Memorial Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born June 14, 1903 in Ionia, the son of Henry and Caroline Franks Miller.

He married Ervilla Stephan on January 26, 1929 in McBain.

He was employed for 3 years by the Ionia County Road Commission. He retired in 
1969. He was a member of ST. Johns Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, six grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

One son preceded him in death.

Arrangements by Roetman Funeral HOme, Ionia. Burial in Balcom Cemetery.
