The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, January 20, 1989
James J. Miller, 43, of Clarksville, died January 18 at Metropolitan Hospital 
in Grand Rapids.  He was born May 10, 1945 in Slaten Lake, the son of Hullie 
and Hilda Pemperton Miller.  

He is survived by three daughters, Paula Miller, Amy Miller and Ann Farr, all 
of Fenwick; three brothers, Robert of BelAir, Hullie Jr. of Clarksville, and 
Carl of Coldwater, six sisters, Pauline Brooks of Ellsworth, Rosie Garvey of 
Coldwater, Betty Morse of Coldwater, Mary Waffle of Petoskey, Katie Robinson 
of Petoskey, and Carol Ann Randall of Coldwater; two grandchildren; several 
nieces and nephews.  

Cremation has taken place.  Graveside services will be January 21, 11 a.m. at 
Saranac Cemetery, with the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.  funeral 
arrangements by Lake Funeral Home.
