MILLER, ELLEN (PRITCHARD) (MRS. WILLIAM):
   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, Monday, May 3, 1999:  "Ellen Miller - Mrs. Ellen
Miller, 78, of Ionia, passed away at her home Saturday, May 1, 1999.  She was
born April 8, 1921, in Matherton, the daughter of Otto and Nellie (Woodard)
Pritchard.  Ellen was educated in the Lyons Schools and was a lifetime Ionia
County resident having lived in Matherton, Lyons and for the past several years
in Ionia.
   She was married to William Miller, Feb. 28, 1964 in Charlotte, and he
preceded her in death in 1985.  Mrs. Miller had been employed at Peshke Packing
Co., and Herruds Meats in Grand Rapids until her retirement.
   Surviving Ellen Miller is one daughter-in-law, Josephine Cuttle, of Detroit,
one granddaughter, Brenda Haddock and one greatgrandson, David Haddock, both of
Detroit; one brother, Francis Pritchard, of Lyons; one sister, Helen Hoy, of
Charlotte; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Marie
Rockafellow.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Monte
Cuttle in October 1993, two sisters, June Ginebaugh and Betty Carpenter.
   Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Miller will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the
Myers Memorial Chapel, Ionia, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community
Church officiating.  Interment will be in East Plains Cemetery.  Visitation is
today at the Main Street Chapel from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emphysema Foundation.  Envelopes are
available at the Myers Memorial Chapel."
