Miller of Greenville, died Sunday from an overdose of morphine. She took fifteen grains of morphine at a dose. All efforts to bring her out of the lethargy of death were unavailable. The deceased was a slave to the opium habit which she in vain had tried to break. She was so discouraged with such a life that she had before attempted to take her own life but was saved by her husband - twice from drowning and twice from poisoning. Funeral exercises were held at the late residence of the deceased in the rooms over Sherman's restaurant and the remains were taken to Smyrna for burial Additional Comments: Age: 31 Funeral: June 1884 Smyrna cemetery Census: 1880 Greenville Miller, N.J. 34, OH Kate, 27, Ill.
